Clear Bag Policy
To provide a safer environment for the public and significantly expedite patron entry to Camping World Stadium, a ‘clear bag’ policy will be implemented at the below upcoming events. This policy limits the size and type of bags that may be brought into the stadium.
We highly discourage patrons from bringing any type of bags and have outlined the types of permissible bags.
Patrons may bring the following style and size bags inside the stadium:
- Bag styles: clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 14″ x 14″ x 6”
- One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar).
- Small clutch bags not exceeding 4.5" x 6.5" may be taken inside the stadium.
Exceptions include medically-necessary items and parent bags. All items are subject to security search guidelines.
Prohibited items include, but are not limited to:
- Bags larger than a clutch bag
- Fanny packs
- Cinch bags
- Luggage of any kind
- Computer bags and camera bags or any bag larger than 4.5" x 6.5".
To help address and clarify this policy, please see the Clear Bag Policy FAQs below:
Why is there a clear bag policy?
Public safety and stadium security policies are reviewed annually as we look for ways to improve them. These proactive measures are meant to enhance safety inside the stadium and speed the security screening process for all fans to ensure an enjoyable experience as we strive for a safe and secure environment.
Are other venues limiting bags or conducting enhanced screening?
Yes, a clear bag policy has been adopted by numerous college stadiums, the NFL and other venues hosting other entertainment events. The bag size limitations and style are a further enhancement for safety.
How does the new Clear Bag Policy improve public safety?
The clear bag is easily and quickly searched and greatly reduces faulty bag searches. It also supports the Department of Homeland Security’s “If You See Something, Say Something” campaign.
How does this make it more convenient for fans?
This enables us to move fans through our security checkpoints much faster. It improves the efficiency and effectiveness of bag checks. Fans will also enjoy an improved sense of safety.
Can fans carry cameras, binoculars, smartphones or tablets separate from the clear bag?
Yes, binoculars, a phone or approved cameras may be carried inside the stadium so long as it is not in its own bag.
What happens if bring a bag that is not permitted?
Fans carrying bags that do not comply with the Clear Bag Policy will be asked to return their bags to their vehicle and transfer their belongings to an approved clear plastic bag before entering the venue.
Can I bring special medical equipment inside the stadium?
An exception will be made for bags containing medically necessary items after proper inspection at the point of entry.
What to expect before entering the stadium:
Guests with approved clear bags will have their bags checked at the gates. As guests approach their gate, the contents from their pockets should be removed.
Will security procedures increase wait time?
Camping World Stadium is making every effort to ensure security enhancement doesn’t slow down the process of getting inside the stadium. Initially, as with any new process, guests may experience longer wait times. We will have extra staff on duty to help facilitate the quickest entry possible. We encourage guests to arrive at the stadium 30 minutes prior to normal to mitigate wait times.
What can I do to help get into the stadium quickly?
Arrive early, know which items are prohibited and avoid bringing a bag, if at all possible. Gates open two hours prior to kickoff.
Do I have to put everything I’m carrying into the permissible bags?
No. We are limiting only the type of bags carried into the venue, not items that you normally bring to a game. Therefore, you can carry items in your pockets or jacket (such as keys, makeup, feminine products, comb, phone, wallet, credit cards, etc.) if you choose not to put them in a clear bag or clutch. And you can carry a blanket over your arms, and binoculars and/or camera around your neck or in your hands without the case. You can use the clear bag and clutch to carry other items. You will continue to have the flexibility to bring a wide variety of approved items into the venue. Every member of your family may carry in one permissible bag.
